Inevitable Tension, 2016

The Mylar stretched over panels present a balance of two desires distilled into a tension between two materials. The screws penetrating the Mylar distort the reflection of the viewer allowing a palpable tension between safety and self-admiration. The pieces allow for playfulness as well as self-preservation from the perception of aggression.
