Hierophanic Moments, 2016

Continuing an exploration of a hierophany, meaning that something is not sacred unless it presents itself to be sacred, this series of paintings uses common house paint to create a situation for the paint to present itself yielding to the chemistry of the latex violently as a hierophany frozen in time.
